Jacob turned 4 years old today. Wow! the time has gone fast. We started the celebrations last Friday with my parents coming to dinner. It was fun to have Dutch Oven stew and homemade cornbread(we even ground our own cornmeal). It was delicious. Then we sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and open birthday gifts for both Jacob and Sarah(her birthday is next week). He loved the Lego's and mom loves the clothes he received. Sarah hasn't stopped listening to the Hannah Montana CD she received.
Today, Josh parents came for dinner. We had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and fresh corn on the cob. Josh made a peach pie for desert with real whipped cream on top. Yummy! Jacob received more Lego's which he loves. This kid plays literally for hours with Lego's. He also received some Indiana Jones action figures (refer back to Indiana Jones post). We all had a fun day together.
