Every September the school has a "walk to school day". They encourage every body at the school to walk instead of driving. Even the school buses drop the students off at a park 1/2 mile away and let them experience walking to school also. Our kids walk or ride their bikes to school everyday anyways. It's not a big thrill for them, but we participate anyways. The exciting part is the free treat they get when they arrive at school. This year Great Harvest Bread Company spon
