Sorry!

Our Sunday night family fun activity was playing the game Sorry. The kids love to sit around and play games, that is until somebody starts winning and somebody else starts losing. Then Mom or Dad raises their voices to keep others from yelling or hitting their sibling. Does anybody else have these problems? What we think will be a fun memory turns into tears.
Its hard to find games everybody is into when there is a spance of time between their ages. I will say Jacob did pretty good sitting and not complaining that he never picked a "1, 2 or sorry" card. He stayed in start for almost the entire game. I kept wanting to sneak the right card into the pile, but what is that teaching the older kids. Hopefully the kids will remember the fun parts of the game.

It's good to know that my family is not the only one that has some less than perfect moments!

This happens at our house ALL the time! The kids are getting a lot better at playing though, what has worked for us is that I always play, then I lose on purpose. :) Then it's not one of the kids, but they both gang up on mom, which is fine. It's gotten to be a family joke "Mom's losing!! hahhahah" Then I try to be the good example of a gracious loser! hahahah It's worked pretty well. Then sometimes I smoke 'em, just to make it look like I'm really playing. The important part is that we're spending time together as a family.
