Primary Activity " I hope they call me on a mission"

Our LDS wards quarterly primary activity had a mission theme. The kids each received a letter with a specific country they were called to for 2 hours. They were to arrive at the church at 6:00 p.m. sharp dressed in their best church clothes with scriptures in hand. When they arrived they were each given a name tag that said Sister or Brother Haacke on it. They had a sticker put on them that designated them to what mission they were assigned. Sarah went to the Netherlands, Ethan to the United States, Isaac to Brazil, and Jacob to Panama. They had a former mission pres in our ward talk to them, the parents said goodbye and off they went to the "airplane ride" to their country. The Primary leaders had people from our ward who served in these areas talk about their country, have food to sample, and teach some of the language. The parents were to be waiting in the cultural hall/airport to greet our children as they arrived home. Some of the parents even brought signs and balloons. The kids had a fun evening and are excited about one day serving a mission of their own.
