School Friends

Sarah had a friend over to play this afternoon. Her name is Natalie. They have been friends and classmates since kindergarten. This year though they redrew the boundaries for the elementary school. Natalie got sent to the school in River Heights and our family stayed at Providence. It has been really hard on all of us. I'm glad they keep in touch via phone calls and letters, and they still get together to play.
As a mother, you want good friends for your children to be surrounded by. Natalie and Sarah have always been at the head of the class, and have always worked together doing extra things to keep busy. They often pushed each other to succeed and learn in new subjects and skills. They still play with barbies when their together and do dress up and paint each others nails. It;s been hard on both girls not having each other at school this year. I hope when there older they will look back with fond memories and always remember each other.
